Remote Access to E-Resources

Access from off-campus is EASY!!

All library electronic resources are accessible remotely by IFTM students, faculty and staff via the Library EZproxy Server. Library users with valid IFTM email ID and password may access from off campus a variety of Library subscribed resources including e-journals, databases, e-books and podcasts etc. listed in the Library Catalogue and Library Homepage. In order to access the Library remotely, user’s computer/smartphone/tablet must have an Internet connection and leave the browser default to accept "cookies".

How does it work?

Our links are configured with an EZProxy server that will detect if you are off-campus and then prompt you a log-in screen. Enter your IFTM email ID and password. You do not need to make any changes to your browser's configuration. EZProxy uses cookies to keep track of your session, so that you don't have to log in again to access new resources. EZProxy will not work if your browser does not accept cookies. These cookies contain only your session key, and expire when you close your browser.
