IFT welcomed a group from Asia University in Tokyo, Japan on cultural exchange from 10 to 13 November. The Asia University party comprised 6 students and a member of staff.
The visitors took part in Japanese language classes and interacted with students at the Institute who are learning the language. IFT students gave the visitors a guided tour of the campus, and the hosts and guests dined together. The tour group also attended a lecture by IFT Instructor Alexander Chao on Macao’s culture and cuisine.
Each member of the touring party belongs to the university’s Volunteer Centre; the group held a meeting with members of the IFT Volunteer Circle to exchange accounts of their experience of doing voluntary work.
