Visitor management is at the heart of Cultural Heritage Management. Good visitor management is essential for both visitor safety and heritage protection. It is also important for quality visitor experience, a prerequisite for the appreciation of cultural significance. This course will introduce the key concepts of visitor management at heritage places through theoretical discussions, case studies, workshops and project work. Emphasis will be given to the development of the knowledge of how to apply the visitor management theories in real life cases.
