The art of communication through writing is an essential skill for anyone working in cultural and heritage fields. It has application in interpretative materials, museum displays, exhibition panels, public education, mass media and marketing. In this course, building on communication and marketing theories, the students will learn the concepts and techniques of producing text materials in Plain English that are intellectually accessible by the mass, effective in conveying art, culture and heritage messages, and persuasive in generating interest in cultural and heritage products and services.

 Students who have completed English I, II, III and IV courses are eligible to take this course.
