The basic accounting principles will be covered with the introduction of the basic accounting elements and the core financial statements of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flow. Students will also be equipped with the fundamentals of various costs concepts, with particular emphasis on the techniques of budgeting, planning and control, as well as financial analysis.

 

The course is designed to furnish students with adequate knowledge to handle monetary related considerations / issues of the industry sector, and appreciate the usage of the accounting information for management plans and decisions.
