This course helps explain the functional and spatial concepts of restaurant and kitchen design, and allow students to understand the appropriate considerations when establishing business in the culinary sector. The course also explores the elements and principles of design, design philosophies, and aesthetic qualities relevant to restaurant designs in terms to human five senses. Emphasis is placed on understanding how kitchen and restaurant design can create a layout that is more efficient and satisfied to users and customers.
