This course introduces the international, regional and local principles and legal frameworks for heritage management. Students are expected to review critically the key charters and local heritage laws and analyse the relevance of the principles stated in the charters and effectiveness of the laws within a given context.

 

(Prerequisite: Students must have attended HERT211- Introduction to Heritage Management and/ or HERT213- Principles of Conservation before taking this course.)
