The objective of this course is to equip culinary arts students with a good understanding of the general functions of computer hardware and software for day-to-day operations. In addition, desktop applications and web-based tools are covered, with an emphasis on spreadsheet and graphics. This course lays the foundation for general literacy in IT, terminology, and hands-on capabilities.
