This course enables students to understand the critical role of HR policies and practices in contemporary organizations with particular emphasis on their use in the local context. Students will learn to apply the HR principles and the various options in manpower planning, recruitment and hiring, employee evaluation, training and development, compensation and benefits and labor relations. In this course, students will have the opportunity to develop effective people management skills.
