The course is organized according to the guidelines of the Common European Framework for Languages

(CEFR) and the Reference Framework for the Teaching of Portuguese Abroad (QuaREPE), respectively the two

international reference frameworks for the teaching of foreign languages in general and Portuguese as a

Foreign Language in particular. The main goal of the course is to help learners develop a basic communicative

competence in Portuguese that allows them to respond to everyday communication situations in their

personal, public and educational live in the Macao SAR. The course is meant to be a continuation of

Portuguese IV.
