This is an introductory course that provides students with the basic technical knowledge and inter-personal skills required for operational competence in the delivery of food and beverage service.  Practical exercises will develop the students’ capacity to work as a team-member as well as an individual, sensitive to the roles of their associates and guest needs.  Exposure to proper service ethics, and the need to maintain high standards of quality and guest satisfaction in food and beverage service will further educate students on the rules for success in this field.
