The course introduces students to ethical and moral principles when conducting businesses. Such considerations will be made at the individual level (corporate citizenship), the firm level (corporate social responsibility) and society level (non-economic concerns such as environmental protection, minority interests, etc). The implications of business decisions beyond financial and strategic considerations on community well-being and compliance with the law will be discussed.
