Mainland China ID card holders

Applicants must be high school graduates who have attended the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) of the current academic year and have attained a score reaching the university score line.

1. Assessment and selection will be based on applicants' Gaokao total scores and Gaokao English score. Applicants without Gaokao English score will be arranged for an admission interview in English.
2. Priority of admission will be given to applicants with Gaokao total scores reaching the premium university score line.
3. IFTM does not provide art programmes. The admission of art applicants is the same as that of ordinary applicants. Assessment and selection will be based on applicants' Gaokao scores of general subjects.

Mainland China ID card holders

Applicants must be current high school graduates studying in Mainland China or outside China following the international curriculum. Applicants have to submit academic documents for review and will be arranged for admission interview if necessary.

2. Holding an official offer letter for 2023/2024 undergraduate programme with English as the medium of instruction issued by a higher education institution recognized by IFTM.

1. Mainland applicants

   Applicants from Guangdong province or Guizhou province will be given a bonus of 10%.

2. Tourism or Hospitality Courses

   Applicants who have completed tourism and hospitality related courses in their high school curriculum (Form 4 to Form 6, Grade 10 to Grade 12 or equivalent) will be given a bonus of 5%.

3. Principal’s Recommendation Letter / Referral form

   Applicants whose high school is not in Macao will be given a bonus of 5% if they have Principal's Recommendation Letter.

4. IFTM Fam Tour and IFTM Summer / Winter Camp

   Applicants who have ever joined any or both will be given extra bonus.

   5% for IFTM Fam / Educational Tour / Online camp; 10% for physical IFTM Summer / WinterCamp.
