The surging economic development of Macao in the past decade has driven the strong need for high calibres, especially for the tourism and hospitality sector. Practitioners should well equip them with knowledge and skills to meet the challenges. To cope with this, IFTM strives hard to nurture the needed human resources.

According to the latest graduate employment survey, 57.5% of IFTM graduates were employed in tourism and hospitality industry, 12.5% in public administration sector and 8.8% in education sector. For those who engaged in tourism and hospitality industry, more than half of them were working in the mega resort and entertainment complex which included but not limited to City of Dreams, Studio City, Galaxy Macau, Grand Lisboa Palace, Lisboeta Macau, MGM Macau, MGM Cotai, The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao, Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. 93.5% of 2019/2020 graduates in work in Macao had full-time employment, earning monthly median salary of MOP14,100.
