Payment Details for Tuition Fees

1. PAYMENT AT CASHIER AND ENQUIRY COUNTER, INSPIRATION BUILDING OF MONG-HA CAMPUS

– Cash / Credit Card / UnionPay / Local Company Cheque / Cashier Order / GOVPAY (either one of the payment methods above can be chosen for fees settlement)

Within the payment period stated on the debit note, students bring along the debit note and settle the fees by Cash or Credit Card (VISA / MASTER) or UnionPay (Credit or Debit Card) or Local Company Cheque or Cashier Order (cheque or cashier order should be made payable to “Universidade de Turismo de Macau”) or GOVPAY. Once the fees are received, the student will be given a receipt and the payment status of that debit note will be updated as “Paid”.

Note: Students can choose either one of the payment methods above to settle the fees at the Cashier and Enquiry Counter, Inspiration Building of Mong-Ha Campus.

2. PAYMENT AT “BANK OF CHINA, MACAU BRANCH” OR “BANCO NACIONAL ULTRAMARINO”

Students can bring along the debit note and settle the fees at Bank of China, Macau Branch or Banco Nacional Ultramarino within the payment period.

Students will be given a receipt and the payment status of that debit note will be updated as “Paid” within 3 working days after the bank receives the fees.

3. ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH INTERNET BANKING AT “BANK OF CHINA, MACAU BRANCH” OR “BANCO NACIONAL ULTRAMARINO” 

Users of Bank of China, Macau Branch or Banco Nacional Ultramarino can settle the fees through their internet banking services before the payment due date stated on the debit note. Please select “UNIVERSIDADE DE TURISMO DE MACAU (UTM)”, then input the debit note no. for the online payment. Fees for internet banking transaction (if any) shall be borne by students. Online payment is subject to the system availability of the bank.

The payment status of that debit note will be updated as “Paid” within 3 working days after the bank receives the fees.

4. GOVPAY ONLINE PAYMENT

For new students who settle the first instalment of tuition fee

After accepting the offered placement at the application system, new students can settle the tuition fees through the GOVPAY  online payment platform within the payment period. Once the online payment is successful, students will receive the transaction confirmation receipt by email.

For current students

Within the payment period, students can settle the fees through the GOVPAY online payment platform. Students can log in “Student Information eServices”, then go to the Debit Note section and click the “Online Payment” icon which will be redirected to the online payment platform of GOVPAY. Once the online payment is successful, students will receive the transaction confirmation receipt by email.


5. PAYMENT BY REMITTANCE

Mainland students or non-local students can settle the fees by overseas bank remittance. The exact amount stated on the debit note can be transferred to the accounts of UTM at Bank of China, Macau Branch. The remittance information is listed below:

Things to note:

  1. In the remittance form, please fill in clearly the information of Beneficiary and Applicant (e.g. name, address, telegraph transfer code, Beneficiary’s A/C no., etc.) and also the student’s name, application number [for new students] or student ID [for current students], debit note no. [for current students] and ID or passport number.
  2. The date of transacting the remittance should not be later than the due date on the debit note. Students have to instruct the bank that all charges incurred for the transaction should be borne by the student and the final remitted amount to UTM should be the same as shown on the debit note. Otherwise, students have to settle the deficit derived before proceeding with registration and course enrolment (at the same time, there will be an outstanding debit note in the student’s account).
  3. [For new students] Upon completion of the payment procedure, please upload the scanned copy of the remittance form to the application system for payment confirmation. The payment status will be updated as “Paid” within 5 working days after the remittance and the remittance form are accepted.
  4. [For current students] After completing the remittance, students have to upload a scanned copy of the remittance form through the Student Information eServices for accurate matching and timely update of the student’s payment record. The payment status will be updated as “Paid” within 5 working days after the remittance and the remittance form are accepted.cep3
  5. Please DO NOT deposit or transfer your tuition fees directly into UTM bank account at any “Bank of China, Macau Branch”.

6. PAYMENT BEYOND PAYMENT PERIOD

Late Payment will incur an additional administrative charge: Bachelor’s degree programme  - MOP250.00; PG diploma, master’s degree & doctoral degree – MOP300.00 (applicable to current students) 

Late Payment has to be settled at the Cashier and Enquiry Counter at Inspiration Building during office hours by Cash or Credit Card (VISA / MASTER) or UnionPay (Credit or Debit Card) or Local Company Cheque or Cashier Order (cheque or cashier order should be made payable to “Instituto de Formação Turística de Macau”) or GOVPAY . Once the fees are received, the student will be given a receipt and the payment status of that debit note will be updated as “Paid”.

7. REFUND POLICY

All fees paid (including caution fees) will not be refunded under any circumstances unless otherwise stated.
