The newly developed Postgraduate Space (PG Space) has been launched since June 2023. It provides a dedicated space for students to study and enhance their research work. On 24 August 2023, Dr. Daisy Fan from Bournemouth University, specialized in tourist behavior, social contact, active ageing and social sustainability, was invited to deliver a talk on the topic "Developing measurement scales in tourism and hospitality research" in the PG Space. During the talk, Dr. Fan shared the latest ideas with our postgraduate students on the procedures and techniques of scale development, how to start with a research project, and what elements should be included. Students were much interested in Dr. Fan's sharing and enthusiastically raised questions in relation to the topics.
