Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Science in International Business and Innovative Communication degree programme is a four-year programme designed to provide students with the fundamental information and abilities needed to succeed in today's ever-changing business world. It is designed to satisfy the needs of students who want to pursue careers that include business management, global market dynamics, and cross-cultural communication. Students will learn how to use a variety of resources and strategies to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, employees, and partners.

IBIC is divided into three major academic areas: communication, language and culture, and business management. It covers areas including business management, international trade, communicative technology, innovative content creation, and data analytics, offering students an in-depth understanding of the global business and communication environments. Graduates will be well-prepared for a wide range of positions, including digital marketing managers, social media specialists, communication coordinators, and public relations professionals. The program of study is taught in English and consists of both theoretical and practical courses. Students will develop their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities required to excel in today's dynamic and fast-changing business environment. All students are required to complete a six-month internship in or outside Macao in the third year. In the final year, they are required to complete a thesis or a project.

BSc International Business and Innovative Communication is an interdisciplinary programme that aims to cultivate effective and innovative communicators with theoretical foundations and practical skills in intercultural business settings.
