Northern India 2017

Twenty Year-4 Heritage Management students of IFT were led by Dr. Choi Suh-hee to a field study trip to northern India in February 2017. Apart from visiting World Heritage sites in Delhi and Agra, the students took part in a two-day workshop with the Year 3 and 4 students of the Bachelor or Architecture programme, Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Ansal University, Gurgaon (SSAA), India. The theme of the workshop was "Heritage led Development at Rakhigarhi". Rakhigarhi is a Harappan site in Hissar district (Haryana). With a total area of 350 hectares, it is deemed to be the largest Harappan site amongst more than 2000 such spread across India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
